Alert Now

The PTO would like to purchase the Alert Now system for our school.  This is an automated system that could be used to inform families of school closings, activities, and announcements that effect our community through telephone communication.  It can also be used by Room Parents and Staff to communicate with parents of their specific classrooms or groups.  The cost is $2.00 per family per year.  The PTO would fund this project for the 09-10 school year with the hopes that the BOT would fund it in future years if it proves effective.  Go to http://www.alertnow.com/ for more details.  The PTO would use the YURT fund which are currently at $1500.  Community approval is needed please vote on the right.
