WMPCS Scavenge hunt

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED PLEASE

For the WMPCS Scavenge hunt at Goose Creek on March 5th, 2011. It starts at noon and runs until 3pm. (we'll prob. need help anytime 10-4 )

We need people the "day of" the event to check in people, to audit the scavenge, to give out prizes, serve cake among other things.

We need people beforehand to spread the word and encourage your friends, family, neighbors to get teams together and come on out (reg/info form on wmpcs website)- It's going to be a blast!

Even if you want to participate in the scavenge (and I hope you do) you can help beforehand with

Putting up flyers around town

Encouraging your child(ren) to help w/ posters

We're hoping to have newspaper spots, TV time, etc to encourage the community to come out

asking for donations from local vendors to give out as prizes (we're doing letters from WMPCS that I can give you)

helping me w/ the registrations and organizing

All time will be official WMPCS Volunteer Hours. Please let me know if you can and if there is something specific you'd like to do. Thank you in advance.
